Ride 2027 Twinpig Snowboard
RIDE TWINPIG Snowboard
Twice the fun of a Warpig in a twin version of one of our best-selling boards
The TWINPIG is a twin version of our most popular WARPIG model. Our engineering team took what we liked about the versatility and aggression of the WARPIG and packaged it in a twin shape for someone looking for more freestyle performance while still approaching the mountain with a “thrash everything” mentality that the PIG series is known for. Size the TWINPIG down 3 to 6 cms from your standard twin to take advantage of its unique shape and profile. The TWINPIG isn't as wide as the WARPIG, but it's still wider than a traditional twin shape. Slim Wall provides a more efficient energy transfer, lighter weight constructions, and even better damping underfoot. The asymmetrical shaping improves heel side turn initiation and control with different radii for the heel and toe side edges. This allows the wider platform to effortlessly transfer between edges. A sintered base supplies a faster, more durable ride. The TWINPIG is a park-focused deck that packs all the fun of our WARPIG into a twin shape and is suitable for all ability levels.
Construction Features:
• Twin Standard Camber
• Asymmetrical Quadratic Sidecut
• Sintered, Stone Ground Base
• Performance Core
• Cleave Edge
• Slim Walls
• Double Impact Plates
• Hybrid Glass
Standard Camber Profile
Slight traditional camber zone translating to a more responsive feel while not being overpowering
Asymmetrical
Asymmetric sidecut shaping improves heel side turn initiation and control. Offering perfect balance while turning through different radii for the heel and toe side edges, the board just feels right!
Twin
Great for going both directions, same shape on the nose and tail of the board. Great for park riding, going switch, or just looking nice.
Quadratic
Blending of three radii to improve turn initiation/exit while providing the best grip possible. This design is uniquely formulated for each model based on its shape and riding style.
Slim Walls
RIDE's Slim Wall technology is the evolution of our Roll-in Construction to its extreme limit. By creating a fully 3-D composite structure over Slimewall material, this revolutionary technology results in more efficient energy transfer, lighter weight construction, and even better damping.
Double Impact Plates
Added underneath each binding area to improve compressive strength and prevent board breaks where it matters most. Offered in two levels, Single and Double.
Hybrid Glass
Triaxial on top, biaxial on base; balanced torsional flex and stiffness for better response with speed.
Sintered 4000 Base
High-end sintered 4000 Ptex base material that is more durable, harder and faster than extruded.
Stone Ground
The absolute best way to finish building a snowboard. Nice and flat base, no weird bumps or extra material. Stone ground is the way to go, ask your local tune shop.
Performance
High strength Aspen is combined with Bamboo and lightweight Paulownia wood to provide the perfect balance of strong and light.
Cleave Edge
Nearly 50% more steel, delivers unmatched resistance to edge cracking and can be detuned to larger radii.
Bio Resin
Our plant based Bio Resin is one of the biggest impacts for sustainability. By using a Bio based resin instead of a traditional epoxy to assemble boards, we’re able to drastically reduce our carbon emissions while using less toxic chemicals. Win-win for everyone.
Wend Meadowfoam Biodegradable Wax
The Meadowfoam factory wax we use is made from wildflower seeds native to California and Oregon. All WEND Meadowfoam snow wax blends are non-toxic and completely biodegradable.
30% Recycled Steel Edges
Everyone knows about recycling, but nobody thinks about it when it comes to snowboard edges. Hell, do people even think about their snowboard edges? Luckily for you we’re thinking of both. Edges on RIDE Snowboards contain 30% recycled materials. That means part of your snowboard could be made out of a car, an airplane, a building, who knows. Anything steel and recycled could turn into a snowboard edge.
FSC Certified Paper Packaging
What does this mean for snowboard packaging? Well how about those stickers on the base that are a pain in the ass to peel off? Yup, made with FSC Certified Materials. Boxes the boards are shipped in? Also FCS Certified.
44% Solar Production Energy
44% and rising! We’re working with our factories to utilize solar energy when producing RIDE products. We’re currently at using 44% sustainable solar energy, with plans in the works to grow that number in the coming years.
