Now into our 20th year of business in 2026, TCB stands for "Taking Care of Business" and we want to take care of getting you equipped for all your skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking and outdoor adventures! 

Living at the base of a volcano is pretty rad, in winter it is covered in snow and in summer we have awesome forest trails and an epic alpine environment to play in.                          

The TCB team members are locals and can be found in the midst of winter on Mt Ruapehu  skiing and shredding the white stuff and in the Summer seasons on the local bike and hiking trails!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Some of our team also head overseas to Japan, Canada or the USA to find out new trends, test new gear and of course the Pow, Pow!

All this local and international ‘’product testing’’ means that you get passionate and knowledgeable team members to help you make the right gear decisions, be it a new set of Ski’s or Snowboard to go racing down the slopes on Mt Ruapehu or new bike tyres to keep the traction on the local trails… We are so proud to be awarded “Trip Advisors” traveller’s choice for 3 years in a row and to top it all off, TCB have achieved the QUALmark “GOLD” award for customer service and sustainable tourism business.
