K2 2027 Metropolitan Women's Snowboard
K2 Metropolitan Women's Snowboard 2026
Progression's Best Friend
Built to instill confidence in new riders and keep them coming back for more, the Metropolitan’s foundation is a directional twin shape and is topped off with K2’s Catch-Free Tune. This makes learning how to snowboard both regular and switch as easy as possible - as the snowboard will feel identical riding in both directions.
The Metropolitan uses our Rocker Profile featuring our Catch Free Tune, meaning that the snowboard is flat in between the bindings with rocker just outside the bindings. This results in easy turn initiation and release of every turn. Easier release equals fewer falls, less time taking breaks, more time on the mountain, and faster progression.

Extruded 2000 Base
Our low-maintenance Extruded 2000 base delivers a consistent glide and is easy to both maintain and repair.
Rhythm Core
Uniquely shaped and designed to complement the mechanics, geometry, and riding style of female snowboarders, we rely heavily on aspen to make this core snappy and agile, while placing lightweight paulownia in the tip and tail to reduce swing weight and ease turn initiation.
Biax Fiberglass
A fiberglass weave intersecting at 90º angles provides the proper torsional flexibility and strength.
Hybritech Construction
Backed by years of rigorous testing, Hybritech is the lightest weight, most durable snowboard construction on the market. Removing all excess sidewall material in the tip and tail and adding a 3D capped edge to increase the bond strength of the fiberglass and decrease the swing weight of the board is what makes Hybritech so revolutionary.
