The K2 Trance is go-anywhere do-anything snowboard boot with tons of tech and a dual-zone BOA? fit system.

It all starts with our This Grips!? outsole - two different densities of rubber are strategically placed to ensure the best possible grip for the parking lot and the boot pack. A full-EVA midsole is backed with our impact-resistant Harshmellow? material, helping to reduce vibration and mellow out the harshest of landings. Less vibration of the ankle means that your feet feel comfortable and fresh all day long.

Inside, our multi-density Control Foam liner features heat-moldable foam from Intuition?. As an industry leader, Intuition? foam is lightweight, durable, warm, and has an excellent memory - meaning that it molds to the shape of your foot and stays that way. This is wrapped in our 3-point harness - snuggly holding your ankle in place for stability and reducing heel lift for ultimate board control. Our patented Endo? Construction keeps this snowboard boot extremely lightweight.

Replacing a traditional heel counter of the boot with an injected poly material allows us to change the flex and rebound of the Trance without adding extra weight. Endo? construction = lightweight and stable. A dual-zone BOA? Fit System allows users to adjust the upper and lower of the snowboard boot independently of each other, fitting more foot shapes than a standard single-BOA? boot normally would.

Lastly, we top it off with a lace cover to keep your laces safe from the edge of your board and whatever else might come into play.

H4/M3 FOCUS BOA? FIT SYSTEM WITH TX3 LACING:

Impact-resistant, durable, and performance-driven, the H4 BOA? Dial ejects on severe impact and is easily re-inserted into the boot. The H4 dial controls the upper shell lacing, while the M3 dial controls the lower shell lacing.

TX3 is constructed from recycled PET with a structural core. This lace provides a softer, more flexible look similar to the characteristics of a traditional lace but the superior closure of a BOA? system.

ARTICULATING CUFF:

Independent upper cuff articulation delivers a smooth, distortion-free flex.

REINFORCED RUBBER TOE CAP:

Abrasion-resistant reinforced rubber is placed in areas of high stress to extend the boot's life and increase durability.

ENDO? 2.0 HEEL COUNTER:

An injected heel counter offers us the ability to provide a lighter weight snowboard boot with more precise rebound, and a longer life-cycle.

INTUITION? CONTROL FOAM 3D LINER:

Built with a blend of high and medium density Intuition? foam, this is our most versatile liner. With internal and external J-Bars and a 3D molded EVA insole, the Control Foam 3D liner is built to provide all-day comfort and support.

INTERNAL & EXTERNAL J-BARS WITH CORED ANKLE POCKETS:

Adding J-Bars to a liner helps add structure and reduce heel lift, while coring liners out around the ankle bones reduces pressure points in sensitive regions.

S?CAFE? COFFEE MESH:

A post-consumer recycled coffee ground mesh liner layer that controls odor and absorbs moisture.

3-POINT HARNESS LINER LACING:

The 3-Point Harness is a straightforward solution that doesn?t skimp on support. Instead, this system aims to optimize heel hold while providing ankle support and unrivaled stability to help reduce fatigue. A taller Pro Version is found on Orton and Format models for additional support.

HARSHMELLOW? PLUS FOOTBED:

We?ve completely redesigned every footbed we put into our boots. Three separate compositions, Pro, Plus. and Base, now all incorporate K2?s proprietary Harshmellow? damping into the layup of the footbed. The result is superior vibration absorbing and comfort for all- day excursions into the backcountry or hiking and riding around the resort.
