An all-mountain ski with a taste for the soft stuff, the Black Pearl 94 purrs through powder and eats up big terrain—but it’s still nimble enough to slalom through tight trees and arc on hard pack. Powered by a women’s specific TrueBlend wood core, the Black Pearl 94 will be there for you from no matter where you ski.

Featuring new molds, rocker profiles, and use of metal, Blizzard’s engineering goal for this evolution was to maintain the stability and power the Black Pearl has been praised for, but improve maneuverability, facilitating smoother transitions in and out of turns. To achieve this, they tested multiple iterations of technology layups with their international Women 2 Women group – a diverse assembly of women skiers ranging from weekend enthusiasts to professional instructors and former NCAA racers, ensuring the skis would cater to a wide spectrum of abilities without compromising on the quality that has made the Black Pearl legendary.

The TRUE BLEND WOODCORE technology is made of a blend of two different woods. The high density wood stringers are built into the ski wood core.

By modifying their length and number, we can control the flex very precisely.

Harder flex in the center where you need more strength and softer in the tip and tail for more forgiveness and an easy power release.
