The go-to model year after year for women skiers, the Blizzard Black Pearl 88 has undergone a complete overhaul. When your arcing turns on the groomers the tweaked True blend wood core maximizes stiffness and stability where needed, while being softer and more maneuverable at the tip and tail. With their own version of Flux form (first found in the Sheeva range) they have a full sheet of titanium that’s broken into three segments, 2 running along the edges and 1 underfoot, allowing the skis to be remarkably stable and damp while reducing the torsional rigidity for smooth turn initiation and release. With a slight increase in rocker tip and tail this keeps for a more responsive feel on firm snow while keeping a playful side that makes them so fun everywhere else on the mountain. Whether you’re in the mood to rip turns on-trail or put a few powder turns down the off-piste, the Black Pearl 88’s are sure to put a smile on your face.

The TRUE BLEND WOODCORE technology is made of a blend of two different woods. The high density wood stringers are built into the ski wood core.

By modifying their length and number, we can control the flex very precisely.

Harder flex in the center where you need more strength and softer in the tip and tail for more forgiveness and an easy power release.

Thanks to the True Blend WoodCore technology we are able to control the flex precisely through the whole length of the ski, maintaining the desidered behaviour the same for all sizes.

Rocker/Camber/Rocker Profile
Ski profile with rocker at the tip and tail, camber in the middle. Reducing the pressure on the edge at the tip and tail makes the ski even easier to handle and increases flotation on powder snow. The camber guarantees great grip on packed snow
