We define all-mountain as a skier who doesn’t color in the lines. It’s more of a philosophy, a sense of freedom to ski whatever you want on the mountain. The Brahma 88 will give you the ability to seize the snowpack throughout the most frigid temperatures and firm conditions. Compared to its wider brethren in this category, the Brahma 88 utilizes its TrueBlend Woodcore, two sheets of metal and reduced rocker profile for a better grip on hard, icy snow. This ski will take the energy you give it and transfer that power into the snowpack, so you can rip down the mountain with confidence and ease. As the day’s smooth terrain gets eaten up by hungry skiers, the Brahma has the backbone to ski efficiently through crud, which means you’ll be skiing longer (and stronger) than everyone else. Save your ski day, save your legs, ski the Brahma.

QUICK OVERVIEW

While the previous version of the Brahma 88 was still compared to a moderate GS ski, its wider tip and narrower tail have turned it into a true all-mountain ski. It now handles off-piste turns even better. These changes are also noticeable in milder conditions. The two titanal plates allow the ski to retain its high-performance character, making the Brahma a perfect ski for the advanced skier who likes to ski all over the mountain.

DETAILS

Rocker Camber Flat

The ski is effortlessly steered thanks to the tip rocker and easily stays on top of the snow. With pre-tensioning under the binding, the ski is easy to take off and allows you to put a lot of pressure on the edges.

Woodcore

The core consists of specifically selected wood types that are laminated in different compositions into a solid core. This gives the designers control over all the characteristics of the ski.

Titanal

A composite metal of mainly aluminium, known for its torsional stiffness and durability. The addition of a Titanal layer to the ski construction provides stability at speed, strength and damping.

Sidewall construction

A PU layer that seals the layered ski construction on the side and adds strength. Skis with a sidewall construction are generally more stable at speed, livelier and more durable.

TrueBlend Flipcore

The combination of the different types of wood in the core in both directions has given this Blizzard ski a balanced flex. The adapted core under the binding and in the tip and tail makes for a forgiving ski. The wooden core is covered by two layers of Titanal for excellent performance. The special feature of this construction is that the core is uniquely composed for every length size.
